SNEAK PEEK: Bitchface soundbite feat. Yumi Sakugawa

very soon, you'll be able to listen to "bitchface," a monthly podcast hosted by Nicole Kelly and Phoebe Ünter and produced by audiobruja Elyssa Dudley. "bitchface" features the voices, words, movements, rants, sounds, and stories of dope women (and the occasional token dude). here's a clip in which issue three contributor Yumi Sakugawa reads from the recently released book, "The Feminist Utopia Project."

A. Nicole Kelly is a Kimbilio Fiction Fellow who received an MFA from the Programs In Writing at UC Irvine. Her work has appeared in Drunken Boat, ZYZZYVA, Fiction Southeast, and elsewhere.

Phoebe Ünter is a downtown Los Angeles-based graphic designer and journalist. She mothers a number of projects, including a quarterly arts and culture publication called "Get Down Town" and a feminist guerilla publishing collective.

Elyssa Dudley is an audio enthusiast rarely without a microphone and a belly full of pupusas. Her stories (about everything from witchcraft to bounce queens) have aired on KPCC, KCRW, and the worldwide web.
