Alycia Socia was born in Flint, Michigan and now works, lives, and walks her pug in the city of Detroit. She’s always been interested in trying to understand how the places around us affect and connect us so she studied urban planning and works in the community development field. She found the soft spots of herself in a hard time through reading, writing, meditation, and conversation with kind hearts (she still enjoys all of these things.)
